CheshireCTSports.com

Anybody else notice the signs on Route 10 near the center of town:

CheshireCTSports.com

Looks like one-stop shopping for both youth and adult sports. Anyone know who is behind it?

It's odd that there's no name mentioned at that site. Could there be a connection to the turf project? Wouldn't you need permission to stick signs in the middle of town?

Permission may have been given by the property owners, so I can't speak to that.

The state DOT routinely takes down political signs within ten feet of a state road though. And that's not because the signs are political. It's for public safety / line of sight issues.

About the "ownership" of the site... yeah, I looked for that too and couldn't find anything. Though I only scanned the periphery of the homepage.

Those "who is" websites, such as arin whois do have tons of info.

My experience though is that there's not necessarily any relationship between the publicly listed domain owner and the privately known website owner.

Speaking of sports - the fake turf committee was scheduled to have a meeting tonight. Anyone know the outcome? How long will it take them to realize we're in a recession and can't afford this ridiculous project?

Don't worry. It's not a real recession. It's a fake recession. Plus, since we use fake money (fiat money) everything will be fine. If everything is not fine, then we'll just fake it!

And President-elect Obama has already indicated his support of deficit spending... or... in other words... he supports printing more Monopoly Money. Yippee! Everything will be wonderful just as soon as we start running the printing presses 24/7!

What I find ironic is that after 7 yrs 10 mos of President Bush always being willing to allow money to grow on trees... in his last two months he tells Detroit that they're outta luck! (kind of)

What is really weird is that the Bush administration sided with auto maker against raising mileage requirements. Goes to show you, you don't always get what you expected. So, after protecting them and as a result worsening their competitiveness will he and his cronies let the big three disappear into thin air along with millions of more jobs.

May China will come to the rescue and send the plants to China where they can make American cars cheaper.

The guy who runs the site is a great guy. I think it was tacky to post all that info. A name would have been fine...
