3 Strikes Coalition

State Senator Sam Caligiuri continues to advocate for a 3 Strikes law:

With the General Assembly not in session and Election Day just around the corner, Caligiuri will try to educate people on the "three strikes" law and try to garner support for the criminal justice proposal through the newly-formed Three Strikes Now Coalition, a statewide nonpartisan group.

Caligiuri will serve as chairman of the coalition. William A. Petit Jr., the only survivor in the 2007 Cheshire home invasion, and his sister, Johanna Petit-Chapman, will be honorary co-chairmen. (MRJ, by Amanda Falcone)
