CT Liberty Forum - Sept 28 & 29
I got an email today from Susan Kniep of the Federation of CT Taxpayers' Organization (FCTO). They're sponsoring a forum. The purpose of which is "to promote liberty, to increase education concerning our Constitutional rights, and to create a call to action to protect those rights." There will be "workshops addressing every aspect of our Constitution, including but not limited to erosion in the areas of freedom of speech, eminent domain, property tax reform, U.S. sovereignty, and parental rights."
Dates: September 27 and 28, 2008
Times: Sept 27 from 8 AM to 8 PM
Sept 28 from 8 AM to 2 PM
Where: The Clarion Hotel, 42 Century Dr, Bristol , CT
Contacts: Attorney Deborah Stevenson, (860) 354-3590 or (203) 206-4282 or contact Judy Aron at (860) 523-7257
Website: nheld.com/CTLibertyForum.htm
Email: CTLibertyForum at nheld.com
And here are the speakers.
It was Susan Kniep of the FCTO who really blew the lid off the Amann/Rell/Williams slush funds... though when she announced it (much to the dismay of the powerful), she was quoted speaking only of the $2,000,000 operating slush funds for each of them. There was no mention of the $10,000,000 capital slush funds that the WRA mentioned only yesterday.

UPDATE: NHELD, not FCTO, is sponsoring the forum.
