Were there only 6 taking the oath for Town Council?
Who was missing and why?

Schrumm had already taken the oath. He knew he wasn't available today.

Ruocco was there, but his wife was running late. He wanted to wait for her.

I'm not sure about Ecke. I presume he was at the game, but that's just a guess. Like Schrumm, he may have already taken the oath.

Nice ceremony. Good pictures.

And I read in today's paper that on the same day as the ceremony there was yet another issue with the pool!! Seems there was a CO leak in the heating system. Isn't it WB that did the system? Didn't they make repairs to that system not all that long ago? Hope they're not going to charge for fixing this latest problem.

It would have been nice if both Schrumm and Ecke had decided to stay off the new council. They are both so full of themselves. The remaining seven would do better without them.

Gotta disagree with you. Schrumm makes a great councilor. He knows his stuff and is always looking out for the taxpayers. Ecke on the other hand obviously thinks football is more important between going to the game and this whole turf thing he thinks we need. He's rude on the council as he chats with other councilors and could care less what any taxpayer has to say. He always rolls his eyes and makes the dumbest faces. And lastly, he can't even chew with his mouth shut!!

Sue lighten up you having a bad day?

This is 10:01 again (and Im not Sue).

Granted Schrumm looks out for the taxpayer, but he tends to be condescending to, non-listening, and dismissive of his colleagues, including those in his own caucus (one reason he was not chosen as chair). He should really try to change the ways he deals with people.

So much for honoring anonymity :(

A council sworn in together works together.
