Congrats to all. I hope that all the "rubber stamps" have been disposed of and properly recycled.

The BOE better realize that the "no price is too high" attitude has got to stop. The taxpayers of Cheshire would like some restraints on their spending. If they fail to get the message they will go the way of Hellridge and Beher. The first order of business should be going back to the table with the teachers union.

No price is too high for the education of our children.

When we find a way to make it affordable for "our children" to move back after college and make Cheshire their home then we would have accomplished our goal. We loose to many of them to other cities and states thus not getting our investment back. Let's us try to do this for "our children" or else Cheshire and other cities will decline.

Maybe Tony can fill us in on the rest of the BoE meeting since it only aired for 1/2 hour before it got cut off.
Who was picked for "Director of Management Services"? And what happened with the "request for approval of the capital non-recurring maintenance fund?" Don't they still have $280,000 or so in that account (out of the original $350,000)? Don't understand why they would ask for more when they haven't had to spend the balance on other "emergencies".

Fuzzy math?
