Murphy, Esty get committee assignments

The Courant's On Background is reporting:

Rep. Chris Murphy, who just started his second term as the 5th District congressman, is finally where he wants to be -- on a subcommittee dealing with his No. 1 issue in his days as a state lawmaker: health.

Murphy's also on the Energy and Commerce Committe... a committee now chaired by the environmental advocate Henry Waxman.

I also understand that Elizabeth Esty has been appointed to the Legislature's Health and Appropriations Committees.
