Tonight's artificial meeting

Did any of you get to the turf meeting tonight? Any updates on how they intend to "substantiate" their goal?

I spoke to Jimmy Sima. He tried to attend, but didn't get there until about 7:45pm. Which raises another point... anyone know why the fake artificial meeting was scheduled for 6pm? That's a bit earlier than meetings are typically held.

I believe they're all scheduled for 6:00 pm at Humiston. Most people are home having dinner at that time - that's probably just what the committee is hoping for anyway!

The Dems are like spoiled children who can not be satisfied or convinced that the country, including Cheshire is in serious economic times.

They have no sense of fiscal responsibility and are unable to restrain their spending on non-essential things and unable to address the high costs of Cheshire's government.

Hopefully the voters will turn down all of the capital spending items on the ballot and send a strong message, "Enough is Enough".
It's time for Cheshire to live within it's means, and that means cutbacks.
