Cheshire defeats Hamden, 28-14?

This WRA article is a bit confusing as it mentions the score to be 28-21 in the fourth quarter. But it seems more focused on saying Cheshire won tonight and will face Glastonbury on Saturday.

If I recall correctly, it was my senior year (CHS '90) that the Rams first made the state finals... and they lost by a point to Glastonbury when a two point running conversion was attempted and failed.

Does anybody happen to recall the 1989 state championship game?
