Glastonbury over Cheshire, 28-14 football final

Unfortunate for Cheshire, but I congratulate the whole team. A 10-3 season record is nothing to sneeze at.

And as reported by the MRJ:

The state title was Glastonbury's first since 1989, when the Tomahawks beat Cheshire 16-15 in the Class LL final. The win also completed an undefeated season for the 13-0 Tomahawks.

1989 was the fall of my senior year. I actually met up with a few of my high school crew at the game today... also nice to see Matt Hall and many others made the trek to New Britain.
