Dems to bureaucrats: no tax increase!

It was a truly shocking meeting tonight. I couldn't believe my eyes or ears. I walked into the budget meeting expecting to hear about all the hardships that would be endured if there a reduction in the budget... spending cuts, no! The sky will fall! It was unbelievable to hear some of the rhetoric about the difficulties being faced by town residents... and how heating bills really hit people this year... and the town would actually need to tighten it's belt. Then I remembered... April fool's!
