Dog Park status update - November 2009

If I recall correctly, the dog park currently sits with the planning committee. Here are a couple recent documents to provide you with a status update:Tim White

I must be seeing double...looks like the same letter twice. But that's ok. Would be interested to know what type of fencing they plan on using that will not disturb the soil there.

This would really be a good place for astro turf.

Seriously, it is a place that will not get maintained and fleas and ticks would not be able to survive. Also easier for the dog owners to clean up their stuff.

Fencing would probably be Jersey barriers with a fence mounted on top. Would offer support and weight to keep the fence in place and detract dogs from digging. Also, dogs climbing on it would not get caught in chain link.

So how much have the dog owners raised so far? How much does the dog park cost?

So we have homeless in Cheshire, low income, people working multiple jobs to pay bills and dig park is on some agenda. Review the ads on TV for dog food, the dogs eat a better quality food than the homeless and low income. What is wrong with this picture/ Instead of a dog park we should be trying to resolve a few serious human issues.
