hotWatergate heats up - hWg 32

No time to write now, but stay tuned because...

In the dog days of summer, hotWatergate is heating up.

To paraphrase an American hero:

"The change orders are coming! The change orders are coming!"

I don't do much in terms of bids for a job, but how do you award someone the contract on a project that others bid fairly on and then allow them to change the project?
How is that fair to the others?

Something smells really fishy here.

Price increases may come regardless, even if a change order doesn't actually increase the price. This is done by giving us less than what we are supposed to get.

So far, it looks like we are getting less burner(s), less warranty, and less agreeable time terms with regard to school schedule than the plan we paid for has specified. Because our local contractor wants it that way. No price increase; just big cost (to him) decrease.

Get it?

SHOW ME THE MONEY!
