Another CL&P rate hike

From the AP:

The state Department of Public Utility Control Monday approved new transmission rates for CL&P customers. Regulators last week approved increased generation and federal charges.

The total 4.7 percent boost will increase the monthly bill of an average residential customer by $6.22.

The increase took effect Tuesday and follows a 2.85 percent increase approved in January....

And as I've mentioned a few times... if you want to fight the high cost of electricity generation costs, you may want to visit this website: CTEnergyInfo.com. It'll give you info on competitive electricity rates.
