Crying wolf

A few days ago, I got a letter from the Town Manager. It was a status update on the Rte 42 road reconstruction project.

The state DOT says that they'll be meeting with the Cheshire DPW in the next few weeks, but I've heard that song'n'dance several times before... so I'm not holding my breath this time.
