North Haven development

North Haven has a development proposal in the hopper. It is both similar and dissimilar to the one we have in Cheshire. It is similar in that the developer wants to "rezone" from industrial to mixed use. However, it is dissimilar in that the proposal is for already "developed" land... the developer wants to take an old factory (Pratt maybe?) and turn it into something of a lifestyle center.

I'm guessing that this article and the proposed development in North Haven (NHR, by Ann Dematteo) are the same thing.

The developer is offering $2.2million for "water service improvements and extensions" and another $289,000 for "gratuitous contributions."
