New drug from Alexion
Cheshire-based Alexion is breaking new ground (NHR, by Abram Katz). They've gotten federal approval for new drug to treat "anemia, kidney damage, blood clots and early death."

If they've come up with something that treats "early death", they really need to start work on an extended release formula as well.
yeah... treatment for "early death" was a bit surprising to me to say the least.
That was part of the reason I put the quote in there. It was just such a gem.
