School budget II: non-certified staff

Here's some additional detailing of the school budget history. Today's installment is the second "major" category (of 6) - non-certified staff. They want more instructional assistants even though there's less students. That should jump out at you and everyone else.

I noticed that and it's worth a question. But it doesn't necessarily jump out at me like when historic numbers changed.

Why are more instructional assistants needed when the elementary headcount is going down? By the Supt's own admission he should reduce teacher staff by one in elementary due to less students, but he wants to add a reading instructor. How come the teachers need instructional assistants and reading helpers to do their job?

As proven on the other thread, his CPA license in Maine expired 7 years ago.

He has willfully misrepresented himself to the voters. In most states it’s illegal to falsely claim you have professional credentials. Someone should inquire to the Maine Board of Accountancy.
