HRC returns

Since she went to Yale, she's definitely been to The Nutmeg State. And on Monday, she's going to return (Courant, by Mark Pazniokas).

Quick, hide your wallet! And if Bill comes with her, hide your daughter!

I saw her speak on the New Haven Green when Bill was running for president. You have to see her to realize what a great speaker she is. If nothing else you have to admit she is extremely intelligent. After 7 years of stupid that means a great deal!

The scariest thought of a Hillary presidency is that Bill would be hanging around the White House with nothing to do....and he'd eventually find something no-good to do.

No, he'd find SOMEONE to "do"

In interviews released after his death, Gerry Ford said that Bill Clinton is a pathological sexual predator and a rapist (just ask Juanita Broddrick and Kathleen Wiley).

Gerry Ford may not have been our greatest president, but he was honest and decent, and he and Betty knew something about addictions.

But hey, if you're liberal, you just want HillaryCare, so you either deny or excuse Bill's behavior.

How very, very sad it is to see so many take such pleasure tearing someone apart. It is fine not to agree with someone, fine to feel that their policies and beliefs are wrong. But, to say that someone has no worth as a human being or is the devil is simply a uneducated, petty and rather silly personal attack. I would have hoped to read better and more informative opinions. After reading what has been printed it seems there are many who use this blog as a chance to attack and criticize and not as a chance to do anything constructive. I thought the point was working together to make a better town and country, not to build ourselves up by attacking others.

be honest, those who knock liberals ..look at the mess GWB has made, the money he's spent, the ill will he's spread, the innocent lives lost.

9:04 agreed.

All... please try to be respectful and opine on policies, rather than on personalities.

After the mess GW has made of the economy the war and everything else I feel sorry for anyone who takes over after he leaves. I think right now the Dem's have a 90% chance of recapturing the White House.

As always, events on the ground could sway any election. Nonetheless, I think HRC gets 48-49% of the vote... and could win, IF there's a third party candidate.

And it wouldn't even need to be a nationally-recognized name. It'd just have to be someone who gets 2-5% of the vote in a few key states... CO, NM, OR, etc. And the electoral votes of a few states may swing this election.

A public official's bad character and conduct is a legitimate public issue, not just their private, personal business.

Bill Clinton's sexual predation (Gerald Ford's words) and subsequent perjury (a felony) did affect his performance and credibility as president.

For those who say that Clinton's serial behavior was "personal" and had no bearing on his job -- you could apply the same rationale to Waterbury Mayor Philip Giordano's sexual abuse of a minor. (I'm comparing the rationale, not the degree of abuse).

Strictly speaking, Giordano's abuse had no direct effect on his performance as mayor, yet everyone recognized that he had to go, that character does impact the performance and credibility of a chief executive.

To counter that GWB got us into Iraq and squandered the economy is a poor defense of Bill and Hillary, although I happen to agree with you on GWB.

As an Unenrolled (independent) voter, I'm just as dismayed by Hillary's ordering the FBI files of 400 political enemies as I was by Nixon's use of an enemies list. Character does count, and we can do better than Hillary and Bill.
