Hamden burglary of State Rep.
According to zwire.com State Rep. Brendan Sharkey had his Hamden home burglarized by two Cheshire men. The two names listed in today's NHR are:
Robert Tagliaferi, 45, of 67 Patton Drive
Filipp Podpaly, 25, of 1461 Marion Road

How ironic. Rep. Brendan Sharkey is another one of those liberals who voted against 3-Strikes and in favor of abolishing the death penalty last week.

Fortunately his wife wasn't hurt when she walked into this burglary. But if she had been hurt, and if the perps were habitual, repeat felons, I wonder if the Rep. wouldn't have had second thoughts about his votes.
What's the problem they have with keeping 3, 5, 10, 20-time convicted felons off the streets?!
