Pool consultant starts

The pool consultant has begun its work (Herald, by Leslie Hutchison).

We've already spent the money on this. So at this point, I'm just curious to see their report. I'll be sure to try to post it here when we get it.

Tim
This is a great idea-at least now we can get some solid information on the pool. I want to hear what they have to say.

Yeah, great. I can't wait to see how much more we'll have to spend on the pool or if any of their ideas are any different than has already been discussed.

The info from the pool consultant will be this:

Rid yourself of the bubble.
Build a solid structure over the pool
Add amenities, child care, exercise,food

Happen to have been given a copy of the pool report written by the Energy Commission a few yers ago. We should have listened to them, they had it right. The pool consultant will provide nothing new.

Tim, do you think the people on the right hand side of the table will go for spending a large amount on the pool, or for a more conservative amount? Spending too much more of taxpayers money will surely make them lose this fall.

8:20... on pool votes, most happen 8-1 or 7-2... Tom R votes with me sometimes.

So I don't see the pool being a partisan issue this fall. If the voters are concerned about Dem spending on the pool, they'll also be concerned about Republican spending on the pool.
