Boyle leaving

Department of Public Safety Commissioner Leonard Boyle is leaving his post (Courant, by Tracy Gordon Fox). Following the early December report which slammed the CT State Police, I think new people at the head of the CSP is best, if for no other reason than to return public confidence in the department.... now if we can just get some new people to head up the DOT.

Boyle's tenure came after the problems were already brewing at the CSP and he tried to deal woth them but Moody doesn't like dirty laundry being aired so he's on his way out and Yelmini is already in. As for the DOT the current head of it was mentioned more than once in the CSP problem reports as pointed out by another blogger on another blog. Rell will continue to do damage control instead of extensicve repairs.
