And here's the third installment of state Rep. Vickie Nardello's bills that she introduced this year:

HB05630 AN ACT CONCERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF LICENSURE FOR AN ADVANCED PRACTICE DENTAL HYGIENE PRACTITIONER.
HB05904 AN ACT CONCERNING THE POSTHUMOUS AWARD OF RIBBONS AND MEDALS TO VETERANS FOR SERVICE IN TIME OF WAR.

Tim,
I see she's back to pushing her special interests again (5630): to allow dental hygienists to perform advanced procedures now reserved to more highly trained dentists. (She's a dental hygienist).

I recall that this became an issue when you called her out on it in '06, and expressed public health and safety concerns. Looks like she laid low on it for two years, but now she's pushing it again.

Ah yes, she says it's so more poor people can have access to dentistry (on the linked website). I'm sure it has nothing to do with her special interest group wanting to make as much $$$ as dentists without having to go to dental college.
