Hurry, whatever you're doing, please hurry.

From Townhall.com's Jim Kuhnhenn:

March 9 - Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner urged House Democrats to be patient with President Barack Obama's young administration on Monday as lawmakers conveyed the frustrations of their economically anxious constituents.

Rep. Lois Capps, D-Calif., said her colleague, Rep. Carol Shea-Porter, D-N.H., implored Geithner: "Hurry, whatever you're doing, please hurry."

And just one more time...

"Hurry, whatever you're doing, please hurry."

But the really scary thing to me is that those words probably echo the thoughts of many members of Congress.

Maybe there really is no point in trying to elevate monetary policy into the public discourse?

Maybe the horse really is out of the stable.

Do you know who I am ?

I was born in one country and raised in another. My father was born in another country.

I was not his only child. He fathered several children with numerous women.

I became very close to my mother, as my father showed no interest in me. My mother died at an early age from cancer.

Later in life, questions arose over my real name. My birth records were sketchy and no one was able to produce a legitimate, reliable birth certificate.

I grew up practicing one faith but converted to Christianity, as it was widely accepted in my country, but I practiced nontraditional beliefs & didn't follow Christianity, except in the public eye under scrutiny.

I worked and lived among lower class people as a young adult, disguising myself as someone who really cared about them. That was before I decided it was time to get serious about my life and I embarked on a new career.

I wrote a book about my struggles growing up. It was clear to those who read my memoirs that I had difficulties accepting that my father abandoned me as a child.

I became active in local politics in my 30's. Then with help from behind the scenes, I literally burst onto the scene as a candidate for national office in my 40's. They said I had a golden tongue and could talk anyone into anything. That reinforced my conceit.

I had a virtually nonexistent resume, little work history, and no experience in leading a single organization.

Yet I was a powerful speaker and citizens were drawn to me as though I were a magnet. I drew incredibly large crowds at my public appearances. This bolstered my ego.

At first, my political campaign focused on my country's foreign policy. I was very critical of my country in the last war and seized every opportunity to bash my country's leaders.

But what launched my rise to national prominence were my views on the country's economy. I pretended to have a really good plan on how to do better and making sure that every poor person would be fed & housed for free.

I knew which group was responsible for getting us into this mess. It was the free market, banks & corporations. I decided to make citizens hate them and make them envious of others who did well.

The plan was clinched tight. I called mine "A People's Campaign"

I was the surprise candidate because I emerged from outside the traditional path of politics & was able to gain widespread popular support. I knew that by merely offering the people 'hope' with few specifics, we could change our country and the world.

So, in my speeches, I talked about the downtrodden and poor, and even included "persecuted minorities" like the Jews.

My true views were not widely known & I needed to keep them unknown, until after I became my nation's leader.

Anybody could have easily found out what I really believed if they had simply examined my writings and the people I associated with.

Few did; most just accepted my soaring oratory.

Then I became the most powerful man in the world. And the world learned the truth....

Who am I?

Some will dismiss the above post (Who am I?) as extreme.

But the comparrison of Obama's rise from nowhere to Hitler's rise (not to his actions) is a valid and reasonable one.

Just this week, Obama snubbed the British Prime Minister, a key ally, while announcing he wants to reach out to 'moderate' Taliban.

"Anybody could have easily found out what I really believed if they had simply examined my writings and the people I associated with. Few did; most just accepted my soaring oratory."

Obama has a hidden, radical agenda which is fundamentally dangerous.

So please don't hurry whatever you're doing!

I personally try to limit my coments to local and state politics, but I do not trust a president whose relitives are in this country illegally, who switches his religion before running for office, and shares a family name with one of our worst enemies. Not that I am against the guy totally, but maybe we should have waited until we are out of the middle east to elect him.

(aunt in Boston is an illegal alien, was a muslim but converted to christian, and his middle name is Hussein)
