Susie Jing wins VFWs oratorical competition

I haven't seen this mentioned in any of the local press, but according to my dad (John White) Cheshire High School senior Susie Jing won a statewide oratorical competition last Saturday. It was sponsored by the VFW American Legion and there was a $3,000 award for first place.

Congratulations Susie!

She's now headed for to the national competition - a three day event in Indianapolis during April. All expenses are paid by the VFW American Legion.
