Looks like Minn. has its own problem with "nonviolent offenders"

Let's fill these cells with criminals and get them off the streets.
I'll bet if Ms. Needham asked town residents after July 23 if they wanted the empty cells filled, she'd have gotten many more affirmative responses.
There should be optimal security to prevent escapes, and it's fair to ask the state for greater payments in lieu of taxes (for increased town services). But we need a 3 strikes law, and we need to permanently lock up the repeat, violent offenders.
Will this use up the small remaining sewer capacity?
Is it a choice between the mall and our safety?
That's what Cheshire needs is some bot rockers. We have too many in the the boat with the developers.
I'd rather get state bond money fo swers that streetscapes anyway
In two years a lot has been said but nothing has been done about the sewers. A great deal of talk and no action.
