I didn't add everything but it appears to be well over 2 million. More shopping centers will be needed.

One of the problems with overzealous spending is that the good projects get mixed in with the bad. Democrats get labeled as over spenders while Republicans get accused of being against everything.I suppose there's a little truth somewhere in both.
What we really need is to honestly look at all this capitol spending and separate the necessary from the unnecessary, clean up the fat and get the things done that need doing.
I wonder mow many of our officials are willing to ask themselves" is this really serving our town or just someones personal agenda. I know several who do but I wonder about others.
To many this is stating the obvious but it does need to be said once and a while.

Not one cent should be spent to help the well financed developers of the Northend.

They are paving over a beautiful property for financial gain and no thought of the negative affect there developmnet will have on Cheshire.

They should pay for all infrastructure. No more welfare for these wealthy developers.

How can the Town Manager ask for money to expand the sewer system in Year 1 when the systems lacks capacity? How can you expand a system with limited capacity when the causes of the I&I have yet to be found and corrections put in place. Now where is the WPCA on this issues? Where is Ms. Esty on this issue?
