BOE begins shuffling the budget along

From the NHRs Luther Turmelle:

The Board of Education’s Finance Committee voted unanimously Thursday to forward a $60.59 million budget proposal for 2009-10 on to the full board for further review, but not before hearing from residents about where — and whether — cuts should be made.

So let me guess - when the full board gets the budget, one of the R's will make a motion to ammend it looking to reduce it; the motion will fail 3 - 4 (the D's will vote against the ammendment) and the budget will go on to the TC.

Just remember the 4.4% teacher raises were to help the poor little children.
