Performance contracting discussion progressing
I got an email from the Council Budget Chair, Mike Ecke, today. He explained to me that he's been busy (remember, this is volunteer)... but he does intend to followup on his promise from August 30, 2007.
Interestingly, if you read this weekend's MRJ article about Cheshire's blogs... you'd also know that Mike Ecke no longer reads them. So his email to me today was entirely coincidental. Regardless, the important this is progress... and it seems as though we may be making some.

In the video, Mr. Ecke appeared to be really excited. That's probably why he responded in only 9 months.

It's great when people present ideas for the town to save money to see such support.
