Jack Kemp

One of my favorite elected officials, Jack Kemp, has passed away. He left office in 1989, before I was much interested in public policy. But when Bob Dole took him as his VP in 1996 I already knew of Kemp because of his outspoken belief in sound money.

May he rest in peace.
