Who has title to the land requested for the Richmond Glen / Serenity Ranch easement?
I wish I had an answer to that question. And I understand there are many people who have been trying to determine the answer to that question. After all, it'd be a little difficult for the town to give an easement for property it doesn't own, right?
And now the Council has received a document that I presume is intended to address that issue. But is it the deed to the property?
Well...
I report. You decide. Is a certificate to title normally an opinion piece? Perhaps this is more suited for the op-ed page of the Herald?
Regardless, the Council Chairman and staff have been passing this thing through as quietly as possible for more than a year now. I certainly am at fault for not having seen this coming. I should've been asking more questions. But why staff failed to "red flag" changes to the sewer map... and never tried to determine a fair price for the land... among other issues... all lead me to conclude this was intentionally ignored... like all the other times when this Administration drove policy through inaction.
Oh well. I'm guessing this will pass tomorrow.

The Dems like to raise taxes and give our money away to their friends. The Dems are not serving the people of Cheshire, they're serving their special interests groups.
It make one wonder what they are getting in return.
And what do the democrates think when republicans are on charge? Answer- the same thing.
JR, do the democrats 'think' or do they just react to demands from their support base?
It's always about the money. What a shame.
I am not really sure there is 1 democrat on the council that really thinks.
I don't know any of them who will have their own thoughts, they seem to share 1 mind.

They do the same thing Republicans do.
