I've had a few requests to upload the proposed changes to the Town's Plan of Conservation & Development. So here it is... just click on the image to enlarge it:

This is a townwide document, it applies to the entire town unless it specifically states the interchange zone.
Does it mean that other commercially zoned properties other than the Interchange could also request a zone change to allow mixed use? Any lawyer thoughts?
What about the property adjoining Maplecroft, across from St Bridgetts, could the qualify? It seems like it could and if so, then stores and apartments could be built there.
Also, why is the Interchange Zone limited to a maximum of 50,000 square ft? A single townwide rule seems better if one wants to limit national big box stores.
Sorry! I forgot the not.
Also, why is the Interchange Zone NOT limited to a maximum of 50,000 square ft? A single townwide rule seems better if one wants to limit national big box stores.
