Too bad we did not prosecute FDR for not stopping the attack on Pearl harbor. His dostant cousin; Winston Churchill; used the same move when he was part of the Admiralty during WW1 on the Luistania incident. The Brits knew ahead of time the ship was going to be sunk by Germain subs, yet he refused to allow the sending of a message to the ship and Pres. His reasoning was if the US was attacked, even indirectly, that would bring cause for the US to enter WW1. The plot he used for Pearl Harbor. The Bits had broken the Jap code before Pearl Harbor, they just refused to tell the US.
