But the expectations are too high. They will not be able to produce 35 full shopping bags a week for 16 weeks. That is 560 grocery bags needed to be filled.
I kind of agree that the expectations are a little high for a 2 acre parcel.
Granted this is in California and I do not agree with the views of the organization, but Path to Freedom grew 6,000 pounds of food on 1/10 of an acre.

And Holcomb Farms' CSA in Granby grew enough to donate 45,000 pounds of produce to the Hartford Food System as well as having traditional CSA shares on 24 acres. That's 3,750 pounds on a two-acre plot.
Those other places also have an infastructure in place. That little water tank won't hold enough water for a 90 degree humid day. Mr. Giddion's well will not last long enough to supply water all year. Who will pay for his new well pump? Who will be held accountable for the crop dying while the farm is with out water? Will shareowners get their money back for poor planning?
