Morgan and Buchanan on the budget

The Herald's Josh Morgan and the MRJs Jesse Buchanan discuss the Council budget deliberations and tomorrow's vote.

"We felt the public spoke loud and clear," Ecke said.

Ruocco said the speakers, some of whom were teachers who live in surrounding towns, did not represent the views he has been hearing from other constituents.

"I'm not really influenced by a stacked audience," he said. "The sentiment I've received through the process is, 'You have to cut spending.'"
