$3,460,000 from CRRA fund likely
The NHRs Luther Turmelle's reports:
The five communities that are part of a consortium served by the Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority’s trash-to-energy plant in Wallingford may see part of their share of $40 million to $45 million in reserves in a matter of months.
The Hartford-based authority is scheduled to consider a series of resolutions at a meeting today regarding the plant, including one that would disperse $26 million among the communities. If the disbursement is approved, the breakdown would be: Cheshire, $3.46 million; Hamden, $6.13 million; Meriden, $5.86 million; North Haven, $4 million; and Wallingford, $7.2 million.

The TM was quoted in the NHR as recommending how the money be spent; does he look at this as 'mad-money'? Why not pay down debt.....????
