BOE proposed budget

The Superintendent gave his proposal to the BOE at the beginning of January. And on Jan 28, the BOE voted to send a budget to the Council. Here are the changes made by the BOE before proposing a budget to the Council:As for additional deadlines, the Town Manager gets all his department information by Feb 15... then gives his proposed budget to the Council by March 10... which leads to a budget adoption by April 17.

Another worthless attempt by the Dem's on the BOE budget committee to please the audience. The medical account alone could have been reduced by 507k, that equals the 10% extra budget asked for. How can Social Security go up, that is a calculated number based on payroll, yet the payroll dropped due to a drop in teachers salaries. How long are we going to let the Supt and BOE get away with this nonsense?
