Internal matter

Here's an NHR article I came across while surfing the web (by Ann Dematteo). Having initially heard about this from a constituent (not from Town Hall), I asked staff when this had been mentioned to the Council. The answer to which was (paraphrasing) "This was never mentioned to the Council because it is an internal matter."

Internal matter? I guess the Herald, Record-Journal, Register and Republican-American are all now privy to Town Hall's "internal matters."

I also read about this in one of the papers. It is surprising to me that the council wasn't advised. Reminds me of how the superintendent runs his office.

Seems people are too worried about that "image" rather than communicating important information to boards or councils.

All the more reason to have a police commission.

When it comes to public servants, the rule should be 1 strike and you're out and without any pension benefits.

And, our council should have been notified as soon as the police chief heard. We can run emergency meetings for developers, then why can't emergency meetings be help for this type of thing?

We have a broken system that needs to be reviewed and corrected.
