CTs $4 copay

While Walmart is already offering $4 copays in Florida, that most famous of French stores, Target, is now offering $4 copays nationwide. (NHR, by Ed Stannard)

UPDATE: I incorrectly assumed that the $4 payments were copays. However, that does not appear to be the case (Peoria Journal Star). Rather, Target is simply charging a flat rate of $4 on these drugs. (Target.com). Even better!

It's not a co-pay, it's the price for a 30 day supply. Learn a little more about the issues before you run for state office again. You might appear knowledgeable and win.

Its a co-pay for a thirty day supply, or that at least what every legislator in Hartford calls it.

Ask them legislators pay $3 and $6 co-pays for a thirty day supply depending if it is name brand or generic.

Far be it, that a state worker gets cheaper drugs that a CONNPACE recipient, which has to pay $16.25.

it's not a co-pay at all. the legislators have nothing to do with it. it's fee market. WalMart, and now Target, are offering cash customers a months supply of certain generic drugs for $4. there is no insurance plan or government plan of any kind involved.

not all appear to be 30 day supplies.

anon 1:21... good catch. I was wrong. Thanks. I just assumed it was a copay.

As for being more knowledgable though... it's not as if I was saying anyone did anything wrong. If that were the case, I definitely would have investigated further. But I was simply pointing something out. And a lot of the time, I do these posts inside of about two minutes before I go to work. Since I'll continue doing that, I'm sure I'll continue to trip up at times... but I assure you that if I point out where I feel someone screws up, I'll do a much better job of researching the issue.

Again though, thanks for pointing it out.
