PBC and the pool structure discussions

I haven't seen much reported about this, but my understanding is that the pool structure discussions are progressing. The target date for a referendum is still June.

Tim, if it were feasible and you had a choice, would you use the money for the Pool enclosure towards education instead?

I'm really not sure how to answer your question. But a basic goal of mine is education before recreation.

I haven't supported the pool budget in years. I will be consistent and oppose the pool budget again.

I expect to vote to send a permanent structure to referendum as a Council member - to give the final option to the town. But I'm undecided as to how I'll vote when I go to Norton on referendum day.

Tim you are going to vote against it stop trying to play the moderate card
Your crazy vendetta against the town manager and your vendetta against the pool are part of the public record

Tim you are going to vote against it

Thanks for telling me what I'm thinking. I never would've been able to figure out my own thoughts without your help!

The pool can be used and enjoyed by all 30,000 residents and some number of non-residents. Only the 5,000 students and the parents can enjoy the school system.

You keep writing about Tim and his vendetta against the TM, but I don't see him calling Milone to task that frequently. When he does, it is usually a valid point.
Now, you on the otherhand, seem to have a vendetta against Tim. You keep writing that on every comment. Why? Are you just a disgruntled Democrat who can't get over that this town wanted a change?
Give it up.
None of us would be nearly as informed about what is going on in this town if it weren't for Tim.
Thank God he continues this blog and isn't afraid to offer us this information.
This is the only transparency this town has.
By the way, I do recall Tim was pushing for the idea of discussing a permanent structure over the pool versus the ridiculous, energy wasting bubble.

Really a referendum in June? What will be the cost for this? This certainly is rare, I don't remember there being a summer referndum since.... Oh, since the pool originally passed. Odd, as I recall there was a lot of criticism that the referndum was held in the summer because voter turn out was incredibly low and, after failing before, the republican council was finally able to get enough votes to pass it. Look where that got us.
Is that really the path we should be going down again?
