More generation?

CTs "energy issues" are less of a problem with generation and more of one with distribution in the SW corner. This article (Waterbury Rep-Am, by Anusha Shrivastava) shows that some are trying to address this problem. Cos Cob is in Greenwich. And I believe Devon is in Stratford. Middletown seems a bit distant, but it is part of the powerline question.

Our energy issues are more of a consumption issue. Reduce demand (consumption) and the other portions of the equation; generation and distribution will take care of themselves. Read Amory Lovins book, Factor Four." It is cheaper to reduce demand than to create new generation sources. The term for reducing demand is "negawatt". Negawatts are cheaper to produce than new megawatts.

Bill... I agree. Conservation is important and cheaper than generation.
