Free energy

When it comes to energy-efficiency, people are leaving the "lowest first cost" mindset and joining the "lowest lifecycle cost" mindset.

This New Hartford man (WRA, by Kari Banach) hasn't spent a dime on heating his home for two years. I'm sure he spent more money upfront, but he'll probably get the payback on his investment within ten years or so.

I agree. It should have substantiated the idea with real numbers... add'l $$ spent and their est. payback time.
