Endorsed by Gov. Jodi Rell

"I need Tim White in Hartford to help me push back taxes, wasteful spending, and energy costs, and to help us achieve a better quality of life for Connecticut. I urge the voters of Bethany, Cheshire and Prospect to elect Tim White to the General Assembly."
-Governor Jodi Rell

Nice to see the party pull behind you. Mayor Bob said he's endorsing you, and now Governor Jodi. I think you can win this. My Democrat neighbors say you and Jodi are the only Republicans they're voting for.

But not really proud of being with the GOP. I just got one of your mailings, came over to this site and didn't find your affiliation on either except for this post. Do you disagree with your party or are you just trying to stay below the radar?

anon 7:22... I'm a Republican and have been one my whole life... I'm 33 yrs old.

About my party affiliation, I think the most public aspect of this campaign is my lawn signs. And they all have an "elephant" on them.

As for whether I disagree with my party... I certainly do disagree with them on some issues. A glaring example... I got pretty annoyed with the Senate Republicans about six months ago when they offered every American $100 for their gas.

As for finding my party affiliation on this post, I normally try to put my party affiliation on every post. Although, as I've gotten really busy over the past few weeks... I've been skipping lots of things, such as typing "(R-89)". That has nothing to do with avoiding the party. It's simply a matter of saving time. And since those aren't keys that I normally use to type, they slow me down significantly. So I avoid them. But that has to do with time management... it has nothing to do with my party. For further evidence of my efforts to save time... I love blogging... posting my thoughts on various issues. I think it's great for the public discourse. But if you look at the dates on my postings, you'll notice that I've scaled back significantly over the past week or two.

Governor Rell is just another head on the infection of corruption in Connecticut.

She knows about victims of Corruptikut in real time, yet she did nothing.

Doing nothing signifies acceptance.

She covered up for one of her own in her family, something about stolen snowmobiles, and went after the official doing his or her job.

What does that say about Rell?

Do not vote for a Rowland style criminal, do not vote for Rell.

I think it's great that Govenor Rell endorses you! I think Rell has done a great job and has made progress in bringing back confidence in government. She can't fix all the problems Roland left behind over night.

I hope lots of people watched the LWV debate held 10-24 at Cheshire Town Hall. Tim, you did a great job! Right from the start you were the most honest and reasonable candidate recognizing that binding arbitration could and should be improved...the other candidates all seemed to think it worked fine and didn't need fixing. That should tell voters more than enough when it comes time to vote. Keep up the good work!

SRV... I'll let that comment stay... but going forward, be respectful. Even if you use your real name, I still want people here to be respectful of others.

anon 10:22... thanks so much for the support. About the BA... yeah, I was bit surprised with the responses.

anon 10:44... since I was one of the candidates, I'm going to refrain from too much discussion... perhaps I'll do an open forum on it....
