Remember also that this is the background Obama came from, including shady dealings with Tony Rezko. Few come out of Chicago politics with clean hands.
I hope you're not suggesting that Rahm is sleezy?!
Just because he a purely political appointment to the Board of Fannie (or Freddie??) at the time that the MBS' were growing out of control... I mean... he knew nothing, "I'm sure."
Let's just say that Rahm, Rezko, and Obama's other Chicago pals make some of our Corrupticut characters look like Boy Scouts.
