A day in the life: Some familiar sights in PAP; trash, traffic & trees

Allowing for the grazing goats and pecking pigs, there's no public trash collection in Haiti:Much of it simply gets burned:And there's virtually no traffic control -- stop signs, stop lights, etc. -- either... so driving the streets of PAP can be chaotic:But I also think Port-au-Prince and much of Haiti have some real beauty, such as their bountiful bougainvillea trees:
