W/S agrees to pay

The MRJ has reported:

The company that wants to build a retail and residential center in the Interchange Zone has agreed to pay up to $37,000 for the cost of an independent review of their application. W/S Development of Chestnut Hill, Mass. wrote in an Oct. 4 letter to Town Manager Michael Milone that it would reimburse the town for a peer review of their application before the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Lou,

If you are going to run as a David Schrumm clone you will be soundly defeated. Just as Steve Carroll…

I don't intend to be a clone of anybody. I like a lot of what David Schrumm has said and done for this town and for that matter I know Steve Carroll has made and will make a very effective leader. One thing I can say for sure. Anonymous will never do anything for this town. If you have something to offer Why don't you have the guts to post under your own name?

Lou will lose by at least one thousand votes
Carroll will not win he will not win
Just ask you buddy dave schrumm why he is not running

Lou has the guts to run good for him!

I don’t know who Lou Murray is but I commend him for running for public office.

I have lived in this town for over thirty years and this is the first I have heard of Lou. I take it that he is fairly new to Cheshire so he should be admired for running for public office as a newcomer, not criticized.

We have another prophet here in Cheshire. He or she can predict election results. Let's see what happens on election day. Thanks to all the candidates that are running and let's hope they stick to the issues. It takes a lot of time and courage to run for public office. Don't pay attention to the prophets. Good luck to all.

For the purpose of easing speculation, I moved to Cheshire in 1954 and went through the Cheshire school system graduating in 1966. I lived and worked in surrounding towns keeping close ties to my family in Cheshire until moving back here in 1984. I decided to accept the nomination because after spending this many years in Cheshire I 1, have a pretty good idea of what is in the best interests of the residents of Cheshire 2,can bring a new perspective to the Council based on many years of being affected by the actions of prior town Councils as just another resident, 3 , for the big paycheck. ( I hope everyone realizes #3 is in jest)
One needs a sense of humor especially as I watch tonight's Town Council meeting.

Good luck, Lou in the upcoming election. Hope you don't pay attention to the silly comments by some on this blog.
I, too, am watching the council meeting and agree a sense of humor is necessary.
Perhaps a little less gum chewing by the chair might help him stay focused on the agenda at hand.

Why is the chairman running for office again? He certainly doesn't want to be there. Look at his body language. This is truly a "LAME DUCK" town council.

If one has the time go look at the impact study at the public library. I just found out that the theatre they are proposing is going to seat 3000. I read it a few times and that number was written in several places. Is this a misprint?

Lou,

Do you seriously expect anyone to vote for you with all of your bizarre comments?

It is hard to believe that the Republican Party in Cheshire chose you and turned down Cindy Kleist.

Hey lou is going to bring his message to the people-and when they hear it they will vote for his opponent.
Sorry Lou but not everyone can win but it is nice of you to try

Observation. Why is councilwoman Esty spending so much money on adds in the CH if Mr. Murray is not a worthy candidate as some have said on this blog? She must be worried about the "shenanigan" fiasco.

I am a little curious as to why Elizabeth Esty lists her employment email as her contact address. Is she working or doing town work at work? Or is the Yale cache just too much to resist?

How should Yale feel about this? Maybe we should find out.

Go ahead, call Yale tell them!

What are we going to get for $37,000? This company must be made up of all interns. Someone help us plesae. Slick insert in the CH. Over 2 million. Anybody can play with the numbers. Let's ask Canton. It will cost us ZERO.

Congratulations to the Cheshire High School girls swim team. Tonight they set a national record with their 235th consecutive victory. Their last loss was in 1986. I bet most of you were talking about the same crap twenty-one years ago.

Now you “adults” can go back to your silly, immature, and petty politics. You all make Cheshire proud, and keep up the good work!
