Open Forum Apr 04, 06

Trying a new concept here... the public hearing on the budget is tonight (Town Hall, 7pm)... the Energy Commission is getting involved with a group (see http://www.eere.energy.gov/cleancities/) called "Clean Cities." It's an org dedicated to moving vehicles to clean(er) fuels and more efficient vehicles. Anything else going on?

I don't expect the council to cut much out of the budget (town or boe), but hopefully they'll trim it to a reasonable number. Bottom line is that taxes are getting out of control. Please remind any of those from the public that want to support the budgets "as is" that they can make their own donations to help fund the budget. Just make your check out to "Town of Cheshire" and designate where you'd like your donation applied. It's as easy as that!
