There is a fundraiser for Carolyn Soltis tonight, 5:30-7:30pm at the Zdonczyk residence (1160 Wolf Hill Road).
Inland Wetlands meeting tonight at Town Hall.
The Mets collapse is final. (You may not want to mention baseball to either Sheldon Dill or Matt Hall this week.) Go Sox!
And lastly, just this weekend I got official word that Everybodys' annual holiday party is again scheduled for 6:30pm on the second Saturday in December... as always, everyone (particularly Stop n Shop customers... lol.) are invited.

Strathmore Dam?
Hey Tim-
I notice the Cheshire Democratic Town Committee is having a potluck supper to "meet their candidates".....at the Senior Center. Can I assume the potluck supper is free? If so, I would like to bring 20 or 100 of my friends. If there is a "charge", then how is the money accounted for, and why doesn't this qualify as a fundraiser?????
Strathmore dam... this weekend, I heard it's supposed to be on next Tuesday's agenda. But then I received an email today that the TM will not be at next week's Council meeting. So still not sure.

lol.
I have no idea... but I know that we still haven't done anything with those rules. And while I have no problem with allowing political fundraisers on town property... I do notice that my real concern seems to be coming to fruition...
more on that later... need to check something first.
Yea, and they will make promises to the seniors again. The seniors will remember who fought for them. Good luck. Try another group. Fooled us once.
holding a political FR in a public bulding, well what do you expect from the party who had folks arguing there was a constitutional right to put political propaganda on electric poles
Private property will be a thing of the past once Queen Hillary is enthroned
If you bring something you can all come, the more the better! No money necessary.
Tuesday 10:01PM How right you are! I can't believe the Dem's are patting themselves on the back saying they brought property tax relief to the seniors. The seniors collected 3,000 signatures because the Dem's wouldn't do anything about property tax relief (even though they ran on it). After the signatures were presented to the council they had no choice but to do something for the seniors. Dem-Diane Visconti was the only council member to vote against raising the limits. Tom Ruocco was the one who suggested a Commission be established to look at the issue. When it comes to property tax relief for seniors the Dems should crawl under a rock.
If you read what was said during the first year of this council the dems wanted more time to study the issue. They took over in Dec. and it needed to be done by Feb. Once they studied it they rolled out a nice plan for the seniors. It is a joke to think Rucco had anything to do with it.
