GOP Primary: One man has stood apart

Between work and my studies -- currently Earth Science 101 -- I've been buried. But I finish my summer class this week and just noticed my hero -- an authentic elected official -- just posted a new ad online.

“Ron Paul: The one who will stop the spending, save the dollar, create jobs, bring peace. The one who will restore liberty. Ron Paul: The one who can beat Obama – and restore America now.”

Ron Paul r3VOLution! Legalize the constitution!

Wow, Tim - you get the Cognitive Dissonance Award. There you sit in Haiti, in the midst of the disaster that a small or non--existant federal government has wrought, watching the daily wasting of young minds, because there is no universal public education or federal oversight of education, in a country where the freedom of the vast majority of residents was won by a brave African slave revolt, and you write a blog openly praising Ron Paul - the small government Libertarian, anti-Department of Education, racist espousing anti-Civil Rights act Republican.
Have you no shame?

Censoring dissent, I see. Ah well, ta...

My sympathies, Tim. This man spawned Rand Paul - named after the pseudo intellectual, pseudo philosopher, Ayn Rand -no need to say more.

We need to be on the Gold Standard!

Without economic dependency on the central banks, we can resume our Constitution.

obama's last speech just revealed he's going to borrow more money to create jobs. Which we in turn pay back to the banks, with interest.

The media talks about the deficit being left to our children, but before that...we are going to be paying it next year when our taxes go up. We're gettng ripped off in the here and now.

Furthermore...
I'm really tired of hearing the word "sustainable" by numerous politicians. We've been able to "sustain" ourselves before. What a crock.

You know what we can't sustain? The fat congress and senate. They consume more than the rest of us.

11:31... you don't understand Haiti. The problem isn't "a small or non--existant federal government." The main problem is rampant corruption.

And no... no intent to censor dissent. I simply moderate comments on posts more than a week old. Between work and study, I'm really busy... hence the greatly reduced posting from the past few years.

2:32... Rand Paul was not named after Ayn Rand. His name is Randal Paul.
