An apology
A few days ago I posted an anonymous letter to the front page. I shouldn't have. I apologize.

I don't see a big deal in your posting an anonymous letter. I could understand if it was a "signed" letter and you didn't get permission from the writer, but that's not the case.
Tim, you didn't post any additional comments on the last council meeting. I watched part of it the night it was aired and then the rest of it tonight, and just want to say that I was pleased to see involvement from two of the three "new" councilors - Slocum and Sima, that is. They jumped right in with excellent comments and questions (along with you and Mr. Ruocco too, of course). Asking questions and giving further explanations is what I expect from all elected council people. It helps us in the public understand the issues better and shows us that they are truly committed to serve and do what's in the best interest of all in the community.
The newly elected Ms. DeCaprio will hopefully break her silence and start asking questions too, as should the other dems - for ex. Mr. Ecke sat quietly looking quite bored and Mr. Altieri didn't follow along on any of the public's letters to the council which tells me he can't be that interested in them.
Just an observation that I wanted to share.

I don't see a problem with posting an anonymous letter. Was it an issue of putting something you received in your capacity as a town councilman to a personal blog?
AJS... no. not at all. I just decided that after further consideration, I shouldn't have done it.
