Cheshire's tallest resident?
I took a drive to the north end of town today and happened to have my camera on me. I couldn't resist:I'm guessing the hubcap guy at the I-691 commuter lot is shorter than Paul.
There are only 2 of those statues in the world. 1 is standing infront of the House of Doors on West Johnson Ave. The other is in 2 pieces next to the building. The "beating stick" is a flag pole where the flag hangs out Pauls right side. Paul was recently repainted aand had to be taken partially down when the property owners donated the former house on the land to the fire department for burn training.

Looks like he got a face lift and new digs.
ReplyDeleteHe should really be holding some sort of tool or flag. His current implement of choice is some sort of beating stick.
